Purchasing a home LONG DISTANCE? Sounds like an insurmountable feat!!
We’d love to share a quick note on our Long Distance (Seattle area to Carlsbad) Home purchasing experience with Diane Ledbetter. From our very first FaceTime, walk-through we KNEW we were in great hands with Diane.
It was the first day the home was showing, Diane let us know if we had any questions – she’s there to help. When there was a break from the flow of other potential buyers, Diane took time to walk with our daughter-in-law room to room, inside and out, answering every question we could come up with. She also added a lot of great information, facts and issues we did not know as WA residence (and would not even know to ask). She also LISTENED to our specific desires for our new home, neighborhood, travel times, traffic! restaurants, weather, assessments, garden centers, beach walks. Her positive, upbeat, professionalism immediately set our minds at ease – so much so – we ended up making an offer that day! Over the next couple of days, we spent hours on the phone and emailing with Diane combing through information specific to California and to Bressi Ranch – which we had no way of knowing. She answered our questions, brought up important issues we needed to be aware of.
The next week we flew down to walk through the home. Again, she was there to meet us with her infectious smile and enthusiasm, answering questions and pointing things out to us that weren’t obvious, but important. We loved that she stayed in the Sunroom, worked on her iPad, didn’t follow us around – but let us explore and talk to each other freely. We had a list of questions and she had a list of answers! Diane worked tirelessly to make sure the process was a simple as possible. Her response time and communication was above and beyond! She addressed every one of our issues (big and small) with patience, knowledge and concern, making sure we were completely satisfied and confident with our new home. We know how fortunate we are to have met Diane. More than just a Real Estate Agent… now a neighbor and friend for life!
